Respected Speaker Madam,

want to convey my heartfelt greetings to all the elected members of
I this House from different parties. Maintaining the great tradition
of this Parliament, the Speaker has been elected unanimously. It is a
matter of great pride that a woman now chairs this most decorated
temple of democracy – the Parliament of the world’s largest democracy.
Your guidance will be extremely valuable in finding solutions to the
problems of the common man.

Respected Speaker Madam, it is a matter of great pride for this
House that you have reached here after years of public service which
started as a member of the Municipal Corporation of Indore. You
have been a member of this august House for 8 times, an experience
which will help you in running the House smoothly.

Madam Speaker, today in this 16th Lok Sabha, we have got an
opportunity similar to the one when the House was constituted for
the first time. When the first Lok Sabha was constituted then all the
members got elected for the first time, post that it is after a very
long time a Lok Sabha has been constituted where 315 members
have come in for the first time. This means the world looks up to
us today with great expectations hence we should consider this as an
