Sir, this is a House where the talent of the nation sits. This is an
assembly of the intelligentsia of the country. They will now have to
guide the country. We will need to find solutions together and it is
our endeavour that we find solutions and take the country forward.
There is anger among the masses against corruption. People do not
have the patience to see, when a corrupt man will go behind bag for
his corruption. They are capable of punishing the corrupt politicians
with the tool at their disposal. But this is not the solution.

We need to think more about preventing corruption than to worry
after corruption has taken place.

Hence we have emphasized this in the Presidential speech that
a lot of discussion has gone in deciding measures post corruption,
but ideally things should be done to avoid corruption. And one
such measure is that the state must be policy driven. If the State is

policy driven the possibilities of corruption are very less, the grey
areas are reduced. Second solution is technology. Today technology is
playing a major role in reducing corruption. Files keep piling in the
environment ministry and various allegations are levelled on them.
But if the same files are put online, then each applicant using his
password can access the status of his file. Technology can bring such
a great deal of transparency that a normal person will think 50 times
